One of the top reasons for getting the car washing pump to break down way before its expiry time is due to the lack of knowledge. Not maintaining it, not having the experts take a look at it from time to time, can get the machine to stop working altogether. One issue, pump holders might face from time to time, is that after a day of perfect working, the machine won’t start the next day.
There are a variety of reasons why the car washer won’t start. Or it would shut down within a minute or two. The most likely fix for this situation is to clean out the carburettor. But what if the unit just won’t start?
Working of Car Washer HRC PRO
Generally, most of the car washer contains a pump, motor and water storage. When the machine is switched on, the motor will power the respective pump. This applies or forces the water through the directed nozzle at high pressure. The water force further blasts away the layered dirt, dust, grimes and other sort of pollutants from the surface of vehicles. Using pressure washer can easily be helpful in the washing of the vehicles surface in less time in assessment to the time that you waste on cleaning the surface using the soap, brush and water.
If your car washing pump won’t start, it may be a defective fuse. If you do get the click sound while spinning the switch, this is a good thing and means your fuel valve is in good shape. Upon pulling the throttle assembly off, you will find a 5-amp fuse or controller. You’ll need to troubleshoot whether you have a faulty fuse using an ohm meter and comparing results with a new fuse. Then you would clean erosion from the fuse itself and from the fuse socket. Don’t forget to also clean and reinstall the rubber gasket. Clearly, you will want to unfasten the battery on any machine that you are working on for upkeep or repairs. This applies to working on any pressure washer won’t start the project. In addition, this might be a great opportunity to change the oil.
In the procedure of modifying this defective fuse issue, it was very difficult to remove the throttle housing unit. Rather than reinstalling it back the way it was, we improvised a new solution to make this fuse and fuse socket much laid-back to access for future care. We drill a small hole in the housing muster so that the fuse and socket can remain outside of the throttle altogether.
Be very careful and cautious when drilling so that you don’t cause more damage to the machine by penetrating wires or other mechanisms. Again, always remember to disconnect the battery so that you don’t short anything out with metal tools touching wires.
